Stock Certificate

During my journey to financial freedom I have continually strived to invest in high quality companies.

In this post I disclose all the companies in which shares are currently held in the FFJ Portfolio and in undisclosed accounts.

In my June 24, 2018 and September 20, 2017  posts which were restricted to subscribers I posted a list of all the companies in which my wife and I own shares; the lists included shares in undisclosed accounts and not just the shares held in the FFJ Portfolio.

Some followers, who are not paid subscribers, have recently requested that I make this list available to all.

The list found below is merely a list of the companies and it does not include details. I do, however, disclose to subscribers the number of shares, book value, market value, and dividend income for only the portion of our holdings held within the FFJ Portfolio.

Shares in several of the companies listed below are held in more than 1 investment account. For example, shares in:

  • Brookfield Asset Management Inc. are held in 5 accounts;
  • The Bank of Nova Scotia are held in 7 accounts;
  • The Royal Bank of Canada are held in 3 accounts;
  • 3M are held in 3 accounts.

The number of shares held in each company varies with the typical holding consisting of several hundred to a few thousand shares.

This list also includes 2 Call contracts I purchased August 28 for Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ). These contracts expire January 18, 2019 and give me the option to acquire shares at $190.

I wish you much success on your journey to financial freedom.
