FFJ Portfolio - March 2022 Report

This is my FFJ Portfolio - March 2022 Report.

My February 2022 Report was posted on March 16th upon my return from a ski trip to various resorts in British Columbia. Since my February report was posted in mid-March, I included a list of purchases I made in the first half of March while on vacation.

Following these early March trades, rising equity prices have led to less attractive valuation levels. As a result, I have refrained from acquiring additional shares other than through the automatic reinvestment of dividends.

Sales

I very infrequently exit positions. In mid-February, however, I explained in my 3M: This Dividend King Is A Train Wreck post why I exited this holding.

In the second half of March, I exited a small position in Colgate (CL). I explain my rationale for doing so in my recent Why I Exited My Colgate Position guest post at Dividend Power.

Redistribution

In the 2nd half of March, I transferred all the 409 Carrier Global (CARR), 400 Heico Class A (HEI-a), and 203 Otis Worldwide (OTIS) shares from Investment Account #6 to Investment Account #9 for tax planning purposes. These transfers trigger capital gains and also result in a revision in the average cost of each holding from those reflected in my February 2022 report.
