FFJ Portfolio - June 2025 Report

This FFJ Portfolio - June 2025 report is a high-level recap of my activity during the month.

Looking at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) monthly margin statistics, we see a return in investors' willingness to borrow for investment purposes (Debit Balances in Customers' Securities Margin Accounts).

Despite the return of irrational exuberance, I identified the following investment opportunities thus permitting me to deploy some of my liquidity.

Recent Activity

Purchases

Howard Hughes Corporation (HHH)

In my Why I Added Howard Hughes Holdings (HHH) To The FFJ Portfolio post, I disclose the purchase of 500 shares @ $68.074 on June 3, 2025 in one of the 'Core' accounts. Upon further reflection, I acquired another 500 shares on June 5 @ $67.7237 bringing my total HHH exposure to 1000 shares. I disclose this additional purchase in my Increase Howard Hughes Holdings Exposure post.

Accenture plc (ACN)

On June 20, I acquired 200 shares @ ~$284.58 in one of the 'Core' accounts and disclosed this purchase in my Why I Added Accenture To The FFJ Portfolio post. A couple of young investors I am helping on their journey to financial freedom also both acquired ACN shares on June 20. For confidentiality reasons, I do not disclose details of their purchases.

Intuitive Surgical (ISRG)

In my June 10 Intuitive Surgical – Redefining The Future of Surgery with Innovation post, I disclose my June 9 purchase of an additional 50 shares @ $519.22. Excluding ISRG shares held by a young investor, my ISRG exposure now stands at 500 shares in one of the 'Core' accounts.

Copart (CPRT)

Copart's share price has fortunately experienced weakness of late. Nothing about the company, however, has fundamentally changed. In my June 18 Copart’s Valuation Improves post, I disclose the purchase of an additional 200 shares @ ~$48.12 in a 'Core' account on June 18. I now hold a total of 3200 shares in two different 'Core' accounts and a total of 940 shares in two different 'Side' accounts for a total of 4140 shares. The two young investors also hold CPRT shares.

Sales

None.

Spin-Off

On my June 30, 2025 FFJ Portfolio report I reflect an average cost for FTV which is well above the current share price. Ralliant Corporation (RAL), however, began trading as an independent, publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange on June 28, 2025 following its separation from Fortive Corporation (FTV). For each 300 shares of FTV I received 100 RAL shares.

I currently have no intention of increasing my RAL exposure and with so few RAL shares, my plan is to exit this position in July.

Dividend Income

Dividend metrics are of little relevance in my investment decision making process. My interest lies in an investment's TOTAL potential investment return. In many cases, the preferred means by which a company can allocate its capital is to:

  • reinvest in the business
  • repurchase shares
  • merge or acquire

Nevertheless, I track dividend income and make this information accessible here.

I received dividend income from the following companies. Where possible the automatic reinvestment of dividend income permitted me to increase my exposure.

  1. Becton Dickinson (BDX)
  2. BlackRock (BLK)
  3. Chevron (CVX)
  4. Church & Dwight (CHD)
  5. Cintas (CTAS)
  6. CME Group (CME)
  7. Exxon Mobil (XOM)
  8. Fortive (FTV)
  9. Home Depot (HD)
  10. Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)
  11. Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)
  12. Lockheed Martin (LMT)
  13. Microsoft (MSFT)

  15. Nasdaq (NDAQ)
  16. Otis Worldwide (OTIS)
  17. Paycom Software (PAYC)
  18. RTX Corp (RTX)
  19. Rollins (ROL)
  20. S&P Global (SPGI)
  21. Union Pacific (UNP)

  23. Brookfield Asset Management (BAM.to)
