Sure Dividend Blog – The Investor’s Toolbox: How To Analyze Financial Statements

(Last Updated On: October 6, 2017)

I thought I would take a moment to bring to your attention the recent launch of The Investor’s Toolbox: How To Analyze Financial Statements. This is a wonderful online course by Sure Dividend. This course is not tailored for individuals who are pursuing their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or who are enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Rather, it has been created for individuals who wish to take control of their own investment decisions but who may require some education on how to properly read/analyze financial statements.

If you are like me you typically want to know what material is covered before you enrol in a course. If you click on this link or the large green arrow pointing to the top of the page you will be able to see the “Class Curriculum”.

Prior to Sure Dividend launching this online course they asked me to review the content and to provide feedback. What impressed me about the course is that it uses actual financial statements for publicly traded companies in which I invest. The images of the financial statements provided in the course’s modules resonated with me. They were not just abstract examples you typically find in university textbooks.

At the end of the various topics within the modules there is an opportunity to test whether you have grasped the material. If you have made any errors in the quizzes, you are provided with explanations as to how to arrive at the correct answers.

I was sufficiently impressed with Sure Dividend’s offering that I enrolled my daughter in the online course. She is attending the first year of a business program at a local college and the material in her introductory accounting course does not cover the same material as that provided in The Investor’s Toolbox.

Another reason for me enrolling my daughter in Sure Dividend’s offering is that I wanted to ensure my daughter found the online course to be beneficial before I offer any recommendation to my readers.

Given her positive response I am now confident in recommending you look into Sure Dividend’s offering if you feel you need to brush up on your knowledge of how to properly review financial statements. Consider the purchase of this online course as an investment in your future.

Thanks for reading!
