Howard Marks - Overpriced is not the same as going down tomorrow

I highly encourage you to listen to this brief Howard Marks (co-founder of Oaktree Capital) interview in which he shares his thoughts on how to invest in overpriced markets.

I don't like to be on the receiving end of radio silence and I suspect you are similar in nature so I am providing this very brief post to let you know the reasons why I have not posted much recently.

  1. We are currently helping very close friends cope with a parent's worst nightmare;
  2. Some of my time is being devoted toward selling one of our rental properties (time to start simplifying our lives);
  3. I am being extremely cautious in what I perceive to be an overvalued market.

I hope to be in a position to write another post shortly. Until such time I highly encourage you to listen to this brief recent Howard Marks interview in which he discusses the subject matter of investing in overpriced markets; he is a co-founder of Oaktree Capital and I provided a link to another interview in this recent article.

Be very, very careful when investing under the current market conditions!

I wish you much success on your journey to financial freedom.
